Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was apparent from the time she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks after the first time she tried out. Felix graduated from her high school education and was signed to a pro-contract to Adidas. In the year 2004, she enrolled in an institution called the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set the Junior World Record taking 200m in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007, she won the title by beating her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked within the top three athletes in each of her events.
