Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix realized early on that she had an aptitude for running when attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial attempt she made the sport, she finished second for 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003, Felix completed her high school graduation and signed a professional deal with the company that makes sports Adidas prior to matriculating at the University of Southern California where she completed her elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. She was the youngest winner of the 200 meters at the World Championships held in Helsinki in the year 2005. She defended her title once again in 2007, beating her time-tested Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo always finishing in the top three in all her competitions.
